^{_{SCALE-UP(Slum Communities Achieving Livable Environment with Urban Partners ) is a programme by CHF International and supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. SCALE UP programme was designed with the understanding that effective local intermediaries -- such as nongovernmental organizations, local governments, academic institutions and microfinance institutions -- are needed to bridge thegap between the growing needs of urban slum dwellers and the services provided by municipal governments.}}

• ^{_{We visited the houses and conducted informal group meetings to understand the response of people towards this scheme}}

   

• ^{_{At present we are working only in jattarodi because of the feasibility to implement this scheme is higher in Jattarodi than other slums in the 1st DPR and more people are responding possitively towards this scheme}}
